Neel Aldred

Neel Aldred, D.Min. Is the Executive Director at the Center for Psychotherapy, Education and Spiritual Growth, Inc. She is a founding member.

Dr. Aldred has a Masters of Divinity degree from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry in Pastoral Care and Counseling from Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary. She did a Residency in Pastoral Care and Counseling at William S. Hall Psychiatric Institute in South Carolina. She did further post graduate training in Louisville and post-doctorate Residency at the Center for Counseling and Psychotherapy in Oklahoma City. When she completed that Residency she became a Senior Staff Therapist at that Center where she was also the Director of the Employee Assistance Program and part of the supervisory staff.

Before moving to Oklahoma City, Dr. Aldred was a pastoral counselor with Personal Counseling Center, Jeffersonville Indiana, and later a staff pastoral counselor with Pastoral Counseling and Consultation Center in Louisville, Kentucky.

Since moving to Oklahoma City, Dr. Aldred has been a Senior Pastoral Psychotherapist and director of the Employee Assistance Program with the Center for Counseling and Psychotherapy. Since 1992, Dr. Aldred has been a Senior Staff Pastoral Psychotherapist and director of the Clergy Assistance Program with the Center for Psychotherapy, Education, and Spiritual Growth, Inc.

Dr. Aldred is a Fellow in the American Association of Pastoral Counselors, an ordained minister and she is licensed in Oklahoma as a Professional Counselor and as a Marriage and Family Therapist. She is a certified supervisor for LPC.

Dr. Aldred specializes in adult individual, child, marriage and family therapy.
